Fans of Team Yellow to converge on Kentucky Speedway this Saturday night.
SPARTANBURG, SC (June 10, 2003) -- Yellow Transportation will have over 350 special guests from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky in attendance to cheer the team on towards victory lane at the upcoming Meijer 300 race weekend at Kentucky Speedway.
Team Yellow along with driver David Stremme are looking forward to a strong performance and for the team to continue their run towards the top position in owner's points.
"I have had many opportunities already this season to meet with Yellow Transportation employees and guests," Stremme said. "It is always such an amazing experience to see just how much support is out there for Team Yellow. All of the people that I have met are so excited about our race team. It's really great to be able to spend time answering questions and talking with people one on one. So many people tell me stories about how their kids know all about the #1 Yellow Dodge and Busch racing. It's a true family sport that everyone at Yellow can be proud to be a part of."
Transportation is the second largest industry in the United States and the NASCAR Busch Series is the second most popular form of motorsports in the United States. The ties between the two offer the perfect platform for Yellow Transportation to strengthen relationships with employees, customers and potential business associates. It also provides the perfect opportunity for these special guests to meet Team Yellow driver David Stremme.
The Meijer 300 will be aired live on FX and broadcast live on MRN beginning at 7:30 p.m. EDT Saturday June 14. Qualifying for the event will take place Friday, June 13 at 5:05 p.m. EDT and will be aired on Speedchannel.
