Jeff Green On Charlotte: Jeff Green, 2000 NASCAR Busch Series Champion and driver of the No. 10 Nestlé Nesquik Ford Taurus, is looking to post his first win at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

"Just because Charlotte is shaped like Atlanta and Texas, doesn't mean it drives the same," said Green. "The corners are sharper and the blacktop does not have much grip. The temperature outside really changes the track a lot, more so than any other track. If the weather is cool, like they are predicting this weekend, the track will have more grip, which make the car handle better. The great thing is the weather was cool and overcast when we tested too. Hopefully, that will give us the edge to get our first win there for the Nesquik Racing team."

Charlotte Test: ppc Racing teammates, Jeff Green and Jason Keller, tested May 7th and 8th at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Although most multi-car teams only send one team to a track to test and then share the information, ppc Racing felt it necessary to send both teams to the 1.5 mile tri-oval.

"Charlotte is such a monster of a track and drivers want such different things in a car because of the track conditions and speed, that it is necessary to test individually there," said crew chief Harold Holly. "The track changes like a second hand on a watch, so you are constantly battling the handling on your car. Whoever makes the right changes throughout the day will have the best car at the end."

Crew Chief Win: Harold Holly is looking for his second win at Charlotte as a crew chief. Holly won the spring event in 1995 with Chad Little behind the wheel, while Jeff Green, driving for DEI, finished second to Holly that day.

Equipment: Green and his Nesquik Racing team are taking the car they raced at Atlanta and Texas earlier this year to Charlotte this weekend. The car finished fourth at Atlanta and qualified second at Texas.

Racing…Born in the Carolinas: Charlotte, NC is the capital of stock car racing and is where NASCAR got its early roots. There are more Nesquik Racing crew members that were born in this area versus any other state. The four members that hail from outside the Charlotte are: Keith Barnwell, an owner at ppc Racing and spotter for the No. 10 Nesquik Racing team, born in Hickory, NC; Charles Wright, car chief, born in Hildebran, NC; Billy "Catfish" Parker, mechanic, born in Denver, NC and John "Scooby" Price, pit support, born in Cornelius, NC. <pre> Jeff Green / Lowe's Motor Speedway Statistics:
