"Mosley, a free agent, Have helmet will travel"

(March 29th, 2004) - - In an unexpected announcement today NASCAR Busch Series driver Jamie Mosley has stated that his future involvement with Race Kentucky Motorsports is uncertain and he will now turn his focus to finding a new team.

"I am really disappointed in the fact that Race Kentucky Motorsports has not progressed to where I feel it needs to be at this point and I am leaving the door open if things come together sometime in the future. The fact of the matter is I am a race car driver I make my living driving race cars and to honor my responsibilities to my family and our fans I hope to be doing so with a good team or teams soon."

Mosley a former ARCA RE/MAX Series driver continued "I turned down some good things over the winter in the truck series because of my desire to go to the track with Race Kentucky Motorsports. I know there are some good teams out there in both the Truck Series and the Busch Series who I feel we could be successful with and I am not opposed to talking with any of them. I really hope something will come together so I can be in a car at Nashville." Jamie made his NASCAR Busch Series debut last year at 1.33 mile concrete oval with an impressive run in the Jay Robinson Racing No. 39 Ford Taurus finishing 21st and giving the team it's best result for 2003 on non-restrictor plate tracks. Jamie continued to impress with four finishes of 26th or better in a handful of starts for JRR throughout 2003.

"I know there is a good team out there that needs a good driver who has the potential to bring in the sponsorship dollars it takes to be a top team in either series. I want to find a good team who wants to be up front and is willing to build for the future," he added.

"I feel very fortunate to have the support of one of the most powerful and successful sports marketing companies in the world with Host Communications. We have so many positive things in the works right now and all we need is a quality team to make the package complete.
