CHARLOTTE - Team owner George de Bidart announced today a change within the #48 Innovative Motorsports NASCAR Busch Series team. Crew chief Darrell Terry has been relieved of his duties with the organization, a replacement is expected to be named later this week. Terry had been with the organization since November when he left Reiser Enterprises to start the #48 team for Innovative Motorsports and driver Mike McLaughlin.

"I really feel bad about having to make this decision, Darrell is well qualified mechanically, but with building a new team, I put him in a position that was more than he was able to grasp," de Bidart said. "I wish Darrell the best in his future endeavors and I appreciate the effort he gave us in starting this team from scratch."

de Bidart is currently speaking with prospective crew chiefs and hopes to have a replacement named before this weekend's race at The Texas Motor Speedway.
