Bobby East will be making his fourth start of the 2007 season for Brewco Motorsports in the #37 Cub Cadet / Kleenex Ford Fusion for the KROGER 200. His best finish in 2007 is 16th; best start 5th - both at Gateway last Saturday (7/21). East also raced at Nashville (F-24; S-22) on June 9th and Milwaukee (F-22, S-17) on June 23rd.
The #37 Brewco Motorsports Ford Fusion will be "dual-branded" this week at Gateway. Cub Cadet and Kleenex0x00ae will be featured on the Ford Fusion driven by Bobby East.
On August 4, 1995, Brewco Motorsports ran their first ever NASCAR Busch Series race, the KROGER 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park (now ORP). Mark Green drove the #41 Brewco entry and finished 18th (started 28th). Now, twelve years later, Brewco Motorsports returns to ORP.
The #37 Brewco Motorsports car has not competed at ORP since August, 2004. However, the last two races for the #37 entry at ORP resulted in finishes of 10th& 6th (D.Green).
The KROGER 200 will be Bobby East's first career NASCAR Busch Series start at ORP.
Bobby East on ORP: "I ran my first race at ORP in September, 2001, the weekend after 9/11. It was a USAC Midget event, and Kasey Kahne got tires late and beat me for the win. I love racing at ORP. I've got two wins there -- one USAC Sprint and one USAC Silver Crown. Plus, I've got way too many second and third place finishes. ORP in right in my 'backyard', so I'll have lots of family and friends there this week. I've got lots of laps on ORP, so this should b e my best track in the Cub Cadet / Kleenex Ford Fusion. I'm really looking forward to 'racing at home' and hopefully giving Stewart (Crew Chief Cooper) and Brewco Motorsports the top finish that they deserve."
