SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL -- Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP) is short-track racing at its best. The .686-mile oval is home to some of the best side-by-side, under-the-lights racing on the circuit. Brandon Miller's stop at IRP will be reminiscent of his short-track days on the West Coast. Miller, like his teammate Kevin Harvick, grew up racing on short-tracks and both have proven success. In 2000 Miller claimed four feature wins and 12 top-five finishes at the half-mile track in Irwindale, Calif.

MILLER'S TIME -- Miller earned his second consecutive top-10 finish of his short career in the NASCAR Busch Series last week at Gateway International Raceway. Miller started the race in the fifth spot and never moved outside the top-15. Miller crossed the stripe in the sixth position.

REESE'S CHEVY PREVIOUSLY AT IRP -- The REESE'S Chevy has not finished in the top-10 in its two years of sponsorship. In 2003 Johnny Sauter started 17th and finished 11th. In 2004 Clint Bowyer started 15th and finished 17th. However, REESE'S Racing driver Kevin Harvick drove the ACDelco Chevy to a win in 2001.

NIGHT OWLS -- In 22 NASCAR Busch Series races this year, nine of them have occurred under the lights. Of those nine races, the REESE'S Racing team has stellar statistics. It has compiled five top-10 finishes, four top-five finishes and one Busch pole. If history predicts the future, then you should see another great finish from the REESE'S Racing team this Saturday night at IRP.

TESTING ALL CYLINDERS -- Miller went to IRP for a one-day test on Tuesday, July 26. Miller gained valuable seat time and tried many different combinations on the REESE'S Chevy. Miller and his crew chief, Rick Viers, left the test feeling very positive about the setup they're planning on implementing at IRP.

TEAM STANDINGS -- The REESE'S Racing team is fifth in the Busch Series Owners' Points Standings with 198 points less than the leader.

QUICK QUOTES AND NOTES:

Crew Chief Rick Viers on Miller at IRP test -- "Brandon did a good job for us during the test. He had Clint Bowyer there helping him around the track. They discussed different strategies, and in the end I think Brandon was really happy with the car. He also picked up on a lot of things really quickly, and I expect good results out of Brandon this weekend."

Brandon Miller on his teammates -- "It is really cool to have such good teammates like Clint and Kevin. Clint and I always go to each other's tests and help each other out. It works out pretty well for us since we have similar feels and similar setups in our cars. I also enjoy having Kevin around, because he has been to almost every track, and he gives me some really good pointers on how to get around the tracks."

On two consecutive top-10 finishes -- "I am really excited that I was able to have another good performance. I think all the testing that we have been able to do in the past couple of weeks has really helped me out a lot. It just goes to show if you can get in a race car for more than one week here and there, you could put some pretty good runs together."

With more than half the season completed, what have you learned? -- "I couldn't even begin to describe what I've learned. There's been so much. All I know is I'm having a blast and living out a dream. I learn a ton each and every week, and that's exciting for me. Everyone's been great. I couldn't ask for a better situation than what I'm in right now. I just want to race as much as I can and just continue to get better each week."
