Mooresville, NC (July 19, 2004) -- Unilever Foods Division brands Hellmann's® mayonnaise, Ragu® pasta sauce and Shedd's Spread Country Crock® spread announced today that an additional race has been added to the Hungry Drivers™ Racing schedule. Paul Wolfe will drive the No. 6 Hellmann's Dodge at New Hampshire International Speedway on July 24, 2004 in the Siemens 200.
Wolfe has competed twice this season in the No. 6 Dodge with starts at Daytona and Las Vegas, where he finished 36th and 18th, respectively.
The Milford, NY native is no stranger to New Hampshire International Raceway, having competed there several times during his tenure in the NASCAR Busch North Series. In eight starts at the one-mile track, Wolfe has three top-five and five top-10 finishes, and has finished outside of the top-15 only twice, both times due to engine failures. He is very anxious to get back behind the wheel of the No. 6 Hungry Drivers Dodge, especially at a track at which he has had much success. To Wolfe, there is no place better to showcase his ability than at New Hampshire International Raceway.
"Going back to New Hampshire International Speedway is almost like going home for me," said Wolfe. "I have had success there in the Busch North Series and look forward to that same kind of success next weekend. Knowing that I have a good amount of track time there gives me a lot of confidence in our chances for a good solid finish. My goal is to give the Hungry Drivers program and Tommy Baldwin Racing their best finish of the season."
Nancy Davis, Customer Marketing Manager, Unilever Foods Division, speaks for sponsoring brands Hellmann's, Ragu and Country Crock when she says that they are looking forward to having Paul represent them once again.
"Unilever Foods Division has a relationship with Paul that goes back to last season when he ran a couple of NASCAR Busch Series races for us with our Lipton Tea brand as sponsor," said Davis. "He continues to impress us with his winning attitude and performance on the track. We look forward to a strong run by Paul in the No. 6 Hellmann's Dodge next weekend at New Hampshire. We will all be cheering him on."
The NASCAR Busch Series will take the green flag for the New Hampshire 200 at 1pm EST, July 24, 2004.
