NOTES AND QUOTES:

“This is essentially the same set-up used last year on the NASCAR Busch Grand National cars at Milwaukee,” explained Mark Keto, Goodyear’s NASCAR BGN engineer. “We have made a light change to the left side construction to help consistency. Right side construction is virtually the same as last year.

“The tires we are using in Milwaukee are the same construction as run on the BGN cars at Homestead and Nashville,” Keto continued. “However, we use a slightly tougher compound for Milwaukee. Milwaukee tends to wear out right rear tires quicker than other positions. We can expect good, consistent tire performance and tires will easily go a full fuel run.”

ESTIMATED PIT STOPS FOR SUNDAY’S RACE: Stop approximately every 100 - 110 (estimate is based on fuel consumption).
