Jason Keller Notes:
* Jason Keller is looking for his first top-five finish at Texas Motor Speedway and his 50th career top five this weekend.
* Keller's best finish at TMS is sixth in 1999.
* For the fourth year in a row, Albertson's will operate a convenience store in the RV parking area at Texas Motor Speedway. The Albertson's Fast Track store provides campers all their weekend essentials at the same low price they would find at their neighborhood Albertson's store.
* Keller is currently fifth in the championship standings, 67 points behind leader Greg Biffle.
Jason Keller Quotes:
What To Expect... With the newly resurfaced Texas Motor Speedway, the NASCAR Busch Series cars are expected to reach speeds in excess of 200 mph. The speeds will add some new and old dynamics to the racing at the Texas track.
"This track is extremely fast," said Keller. "I am not going to think about the speeds, just concentrate on racing. With the new surface, the race will be very similar to our first year at Texas. There will be so much grip that you will have to run at the bottom of the track. I don't think you will see more than one groove all day long. It will be a drag race down the back straightaway to get inside track position heading into the corner.
"The other element to the race is going to be fighting with a car that wants to push all day long. When you run that fast you put a huge load on the right front of the car. That will make track position imperative because you don't want to be running behind a bunch of cars that will make your car tighter. Every pit stop will be crucial. Pit stops will have to make up the positions that you can't on the track, and then keep you up front once you get there."
About the Car... Keller is taking the Albertson's Ford that finished second and third respectively at Charlotte last year. It is the same car Keller tested in at Texas in March.
"We had a pretty good test," said Keller. "While we didn't get to do any qualifying runs, I at least got a feel for the new surface. I ran well last year at Charlotte in the car were taking, so I'm looking forward to getting back into this Albertson's Ford competitively."
