Jeremy Mayfield Quotes:
"I want to thank Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper for giving me the opportunity to drive in Evernham Motorsport's Busch program at California Speedway this weekend. I enjoyed competing in the Busch Series last year and working with Trip (Team Director Trip Bruce) and his team. Those guys are awesome. They've prepared some really fast Dodges and say I have a good car for this weekend. Kasey (Kahne) led laps with this team last year, so there's no doubt we can be competitive. I really like California. I've won there before in the Nextel Cup Series. I can't wait to get a shot at another win, this time in the No. 9 Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Dodge."
Trip Bruce Quotes:
"Getting caught up in a wreck last week was a disappointment, but the No. 9 crew came home very optimistic because we led a lot of laps and had a car that would have been able to contend for the win at the end of the race. This weekend we are taking one of our favorite chassis to California, but with a new paint scheme as Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper has come on board for this race. Kasey had the field covered in this chassis at Texas before we cut a tire with 18 to go. Then at Homestead it was the same story accept he got caught up in someone else's wreck. Hopefully it will be just as fast with Jeremy (Mayfield) behind the wheel, but with a little more luck."
