Stacy Compton Quotes
On Dover: "There are two things you need to accomplish when you're at Dover: First, keep you car in the bottom groove at both ends of the speedway; second, keep out of the wrecks. Dover is a very demanding, very fast racetrack, and the best way to get around there is through the bottom groove. It's so narrow coming off the second and fourth turns, it's easy to get swept up in somebody else's crash. Keep it on the bottom and keep it out of a crash and you'll have a good finish."
On the season: "We're changing our attitude. I've never had better cars in my career, and at the same time I've never had worse luck. It seems like if something bad happens on the track, it happens around us. We were a victim in somebody else's problems last week at Charlotte. But instead of getting down, we're going to Dover with a positive attitude. It's all good, as far as we're concerned. We're going there looking for something good to happen instead of expecting something bad."
Crew Chief Chris Rice Quote
On Dover: "This is another chance for us to show just how good this team really can be. The guys have worked hard putting cars back together every week. The stuff that keeps happening to us hasn't been our fault. If you're a 25th-place car and you're having problems, you'd have a reason to be upset. But we've been a Top-10 car every week and we've been the victim of other people's problems. As long as these guys keep working hard to build great race cars, everything will fall into place."
