Position move that put him in second place behind Robert Pressley, who also stayed out. NASCAR Nextel Cup regular Jamie McMurray got by him on a Lap 41 restart, just before he was able to stay out of harms way during a multiple-car accident in Turn 4 near the end of that lap. Menard finally pitted for tires, fuel and adjustments on Lap 44, dropping back to 20th place. He hovered between there and the 24th position the rest of the way, taking the checkered flag in 21st.

Next stop on the NASCAR Busch Series tour is next weekend at Nashville Superspeedway.

PAUL MENARD

"The 48 hours of Dover is finally over. I think the guys did a pretty good job of improving the car as we went along. It was a good call to stay out there on the restart because the Menards/Peak Chevrolet was not too bad -- pretty tight, but driveable, even though I was having a hard time getting off the corners. It got a little better after our first stop (on Lap 44), and then a little better after our second stop (on Lap 64).
