SCOTT RIGGS-10-Nestle Toll House Ford Taurus (Finished 14th)

"We had a pretty good race car, it's just hard to get by the guys, especially when you're lined up with all those lapped cars on the inside. Nobody gave me any room. We just could never get up there. We passed cars, we'd get passed getting hung behind lapped cars and things like that. We had a good race car, but I blame this one on me for not qualifying any better. I feel like we had a better race car than we qualified, but I just didn't get quite everything out of the race car like I needed for qualifying and that's what ended up biting us in the long run."

WAS THE NEW TIRE COMPOUND AN ISSUE TODAY? "No, no problems today. We really worked in a big groove in the race track. The tire stayed under me and I beat it up pretty hard the whole time. Like I say, track position is everything and me not being up three qualifying better."

GREG BIFFLE-60-Grainger Ford Taurus (Finished 17th)

WHEN DID YOUR DAY GO BAD? "It went bad when the engine blew up five laps into Happy Hour. With no practice on the race track and no idea what the race car is going to do, it's pretty tough. We just took a guess at it and put last year's setup in it, something really close to that. Well, the right-side tires changed, but that engine going bad really hurt us. Starting at the back didn't hurt us, but it's just the worse car that I've ever driven since I've been racing in the Busch Series. It's unfortunate that it happened this late, but when you have engine failures like that, you can't get practice on the race track and that's going to hurt you."

WAS THE CCIDENT BETWEEN YOU AND 94 IMPATIENCE ON YOUR PART? "It was just impatience on my part. It was my fault. I got into the back of the 94. I just anticipated him picking the throttle up. The guy inside of me picks the throttle up, so I pick the throttle up and my car was kinda turning good and I was racing with a group cars right there for position. My car would only go on the outside groove. And the 94, I feel bad, but there was nowhere he could run and I just got into the back corner. I got on the brakes as quick as I could and I got him turned around. And then the 54 tried to pass everybody there, a bonsai move through the bottom and ran over the left front. If he would have been more calm, we probably would have gotten through there OK. In any event, it was still my fault."

JASON KELLER-57-Albertsons Ford Taurus (Finished 5th)

"It was really a great day. I can't thank the Albertsons crew enough. I really messed them up coming into the pits a little bit wrong, but just a great day. We've won here before, but we've really struggled the last two times and to come with a top five in the Albertsons Ford, that's what we needed today. It was a real solid run all weekend. If you look at the record books here, we have had a win, but if you look at the last three races here, we've struggled. To come back with a new tire and be on top of our game like we were. We weren't the fastest the car, but we made the right calls and came home fifth."

ARE THESE THE KINDS OF RUNS THAT WILL GET YOU BACK TO THE POINTS LEAD? "It's the kind of things that we have to do. We can't worry about the 60 car. We just need to worry about that Albertsons Ford. We were very lucky and very fortunate to gain some points today, but if we worry about the 57, we'll be all right."

THE POINTS RACE WAS DEADLOCKED FOR THE PAST THREE WEEKS. DID YOU KEEP TABS IN BIFFLE'S PROGRESS TODAY? "I never knew where he was running, that's my deal. I don't want to know where he's running during the race, so I didn't know. We got so spread out here, I couldn't tell if he was two cars behind me or not. I really didn't know where he was running. That helps me. The more I think, the more I screw up on the track, so I didn't think about it."

WAS LAPPED TRAFFIC A PROBLEM TODAY? "It was tough. The race track was slick. We got a lot of laps on the tires. It was pretty treacherous out there, but it wasn't any more than usual. Goodyear brought a new tire, and I think it was a safe tire, it was just different. It threw some of us for a loop, but I think it helped me here because we couldn't figure out the old tire and we had this one figured out a little bit."

BOBBY HAMILTON, JR.-25-Team Marines Ford Taurus (Finished 30th)

WHAT HAPPENED? "The 38 wrecked me. He told me he was in practice and he did." DID YOU HAVE AN INCIDENT WITH HIM YESTERDAY IN HAPPY HOUR?

"Yeah, I got loose in front of him and he had to check up. He came over and told my guys to tell me next time that he got in front of us, he's going to wreck us, and he got the chance and wrecked us today."

DID THIS STEM FROM AN INCIDENT AT BRISTOL? "It has nothing to do with Bristol. This time I was in front of him. He wrecked us. You can watch it on TV and see that."

KASEY KAHNE-98-Channellock Ford Taurus (Finished 19th)

"We got a lot better. I learned a lot in that race. I was kinda screwed up in practice and everything with the way I was driving. The car was a little tight all weekend and I wasn't driving correctly to get through that. I talked to Dale Jarrett a lot today. He helped me out a lot, and I'm glad we were able to pass 16 or so cars and get the Channellock Ford up front."

WHAT DOES A RACE LIKE THIS DO FOR YOUR CONFIDENCE? "I'm glad I finished and we got all of those laps. I got a lot of new notes on this place and the next time we come back I know we'll be better. I'll be better a s a driver. To be one lap down after starting 34th and finish the whole race, that's a pretty decent day."

MARK GREEN-38-Great Clips Ford Taurus (Finished 20th)

WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN YOU AND THE 25 CAR? "I followed him for 25 laps, and he's a lap down and I'm on the lead lap and I couldn't get down on the bottom because I just couldn't get any traction down there. He just never gave me a break. All he had to do is give me a little room. It wouldn't hurt him and it wouldn't hurt me, but he's got it in for me for some reason from Bristol. I guess he thinks I wrecked him. I guess he wrecked me today, if that's what happened at Bristol, too."
