DAVE BLANEY BACK IN THE SEAT OF NO.10 CAMRY AT THE MONSTER MILE AFTER SEVEN RACE ABSENCE:
* Taking some time to focus on his Nextel Cup effort with the No.22 Caterpillar Camry, Dave Blaney turned over the reins to the No.10 to Mike Bliss, John Graham, and Brian Vickers, who all shared the seat since Blaney's last race with the team at Gateway International Raceway. Blaney is looking forward to being back behind the wheel of the No.10. He will run three races, including the RoadLoans.com 200 before the end of the 2007 season. Blaney will also compete at Lowe's Motor Speedway and the last event of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
* In Busch Series competition, Blaney has logged 11 starts at the Dover, Delaware 1-mile concrete oval. In those 11 starts, he's finished in the top-10 36% of the time. He's captured four top-10 starts and four top-10 finishes. He also finished in the top-five once in 2000.
BLANEY ON RACING AT DOVER INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY:
"I'm looking forward to getting back in the No.10 Hass Avocados from Mexico Camry this weekend. We were really fast at Dover earlier this year but we had some bad luck and got tangled up in a last lap wreck. Hopefully this time we can be just as competitive and make a run at the win. I'd really like to get these guys a win this year. This team definitely deserves one!"
The No. 10 Hass Avocados from Mexico team will compete with chassis #22 in Saturday's RoadLoans.com 200. This is the same chassis Dave Blaney raced at Nashville Superspeedway in April and June and Lowe's Motor Speedway in May. He finished third, 17th, and 11th respectively.
