Kenny Wallace and Stacker 2 Join PPC Racing

Kenny Wallace will be running this year's Busch schedule with a new team. Stacker 2 and Kenny Wallace have joined forces with ppc Racing for the 2005 season. ppc Racing won the Busch Series Championship in 2000 and looks forward to continued success with the veteran driver.

STACKER 2 RACING TEAM 28TH OVERALL IN JANUARY TESTING

During testing in January, the Stacker 2 Racing team's best speed was 178.841 mph (50.324 seconds), which was 28th on the speed charts. In the first drafting practice Wallace was able to get the seventh-highest speed of 185.797 mph (48.440 seconds).

KENNY WALLACE AT DAYTONA

"The first Daytona race of the year is always a tricky one. You have to remember that it is the first race of the year and you are starting with new equipment and a new team. It is really hard not to get caught up in the hype surrounding the spectacle. You have to keep a level head and treat it like any other race on the circuit. That is the only way to be successful at this superspeedway."

WALLACE ON THE FORD RACING PROGRAM...

"Ford Racing has exhibited its dominance over the past few years in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, and I look forward to bringing that same success to the Busch Series for Stacker 2 Racing. With the new engine package that is going to be available this year, I see no reason why we cannot compete with every other race car on the track."

When Wallace is not driving the Stacker 2 Ford to the front of the pack you can expect to see him on several television shows this upcoming race season. Below are just a few places you can expect to see Kenny:

NASCAR Drivers 360: Wallace will be filmed and shown in six of the eight episodes starting in Daytona.

Inside Nextel Cup: Wallace will play a more active role in the show in 2005 and 2006 and will be seen in many more shows.

NASCAR This Morning - NASCAR Victory Lane: Wallace will be seen on both shows every Nextel Cup race day as long as he is able to be at the show in person.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series: Wallace will be the Craftsman Truck color commentator for Speed on weekends in which the Truck Series and Busch Series are in the same location.
