* Leffler's best NASCAR Busch Series performance at Darlington came in 2004, when he started fifth and finished 14th.

LEFFLER ON DARLINGTON RACEWAY
"Darlington Raceway is a very tough race track and not one I have had a lot of luck at. It is the single most challenging track on the Busch Series circuit and probably the most exhausting both mentally and physically, but at the same time... it's a lot of fun. It's a little like racing the sprint cars and midgets -- you strap in, hold on and beat and bang to the checkers.
Tires, tires & tires... are the three most important things at Darlington. The track surface is so abrasive that it literally eats your tires up within a few laps. Unfortunately, you can't get new tires every 10 laps so one of the keys here is to make sure your car handles on the long runs after your tires are worn out. Of course, this is a challenge within itself. Darlington is shaped like an egg, so turns one and two are completely different than three and four. You have to find a balance in the car's handling and give and take a little bit when it comes to the turns. It's not going to be perfect on either end of the track so you have to figure out where you can make up the most time to beat your competitors."
EQUIPMENT INFORMATION: The No. 38 Great Clips team will compete with chassis #22 in this weekend's Diamond Hill Plywood 200. This is the same chassis Leffler drove earlier this season at California and Las Vegas where he finished 22nd and 11th respectively.
