On racing at Darlington Raceway..."Racing at the track 'to tough to tame' is everything that people say it is and more," explained Green, driver of the No. 36 Stanley Pontiac. "It's a challenging track to drive because both ends of the track are completely different from each other. I enjoy racing at Darlington and I know the Stanley team has what it takes to have a good finish this weekend."

The No. 36 Stanley Pontiac that Green will drive this weekend is the same car that won at California Speedway, and finished third at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the 1997 season. It will be Green's first time driving this particular car. Green and the Stanley team tested at Charlotte Motor Speedway on August 28th and 29th. The car they tested is the first car that Team 34 built completely in-house.

"I was really pleased with how the test went," stated Green. "I gave it an A plus. The car ran really well and I'm excited to have it make its debut at Charlotte on October 3rd."
