Jason Keller Notes:
* Jason Keller and the Albertsons team battled back to a sixth-place finish at Gateway International Raceway last week after an altercation on lap four with Randy LaJoie. The finish was Keller's fourth consecutive top 10 at the race track.
* Keller's average qualifying position this season -6.95- is the best of the Busch Series regulars. Keller has five outside poles in the Albertsons Ford as he looks for his first pole position of 2002. He has only qualified out of the top 15 once this season (Las Vegas).
* Keller and the Albertsons team have rebounded nicely since a DNF in Kentucky. With a streak of four straight top 10s, Keller is in the heat of the championship battle. Keller sits second in the standings, 72 behind Greg Biffle. Keller was 178 points out of first at the same point in the season last year.
* Keller led 40 laps of last year's race at Pikes Peak International Raceway and captured his first top-five finish at the track.
The No. 57 Albertsons Ford:
Keller is driving car No. 5715 that was involved in an accident at New Hampshire International Speedway this year, but won the race at Loudon in 2001. The Albertsons team rebuilt the car for Pikes Peak and Keller's latest challenge for his fifth win of the season.
Jason Keller Quotes:
Heading To The Mountains... Keller had his first great finish at Pikes Peak International Speedway last year (fourth) and looks to improve upon that finish this weekend.
"I have run really well on the flat, slick tracks all season," said Keller. "I really like this car we are taking for the race. I was disappointed when we broke the radiator early on with it in Loudon because I had a good feeling about the race. Last year we had a solid finish and the guys have been right on the mark all month.
"We have kept ourselves in contention for the championship these past few races. The team has been giving me great cars off the truck, we just need to be consistent from here on out. We had smooth pit stops and great communication this weekend and it paid off. We turned a potentially bad situation early in the race into a top-10 finish."
