HUNGRY DRIVERS RACING NOTES & QUOTES:
Last Race - Richmond
Paul Wolfe, driving the No. 6 Lipton Dodge, started 21st and finished 37th in the Funai 250 two weeks ago at Richmond. Teammate, Kasey Kahne, driving the No. 79 Evernham Motorsports entry was the event's polesitter and went on post a 4th place finish.
Kasey Kahne on Lowe's Motor Speedway
"Lowe's Motor Speedway is pretty much a new track compared to last year. They have made a lot of changes - taking out some bumps and really smoothing it out. The grinding created a better grip on the tires, especially in the turns. The track is really fast now. Going into this weekend's Busch race, I'm glad I had the opportunity to get on the track last weekend during the All Star race. I think that definitely gave me and some of the other drivers an edge. We have a great car and I think we have a shot at winning this weekend."
Kahne will compete with chassis, No. 20 in this weekend's Carquest Auto Parts 300 in Charlotte. This is the same chassis that Jeremy Mayfield drove to an 18th place finish earlier this season in Texas.
Shedd's Spread Country Crock spread will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 6 Dodge Charger in this weekend's event.
Paul Wolfe will sign autographs and greet fans from the Hungry Drivers display area at Speed Street in downtown Charlotte on Friday, May 27th and Saturday, May 28 from 6-7pm.
