REUTIMANN WOULD LIKE CHASE FORMAT IN BUSCH SERIES

CORNELIUS, NC -- David Reutimann and the Aaron's Dream Machine head to Lowe's Motor Speedway this weekend, second in NBS point standings with five more races left on the schedule. For David Reutimann, a chase format in the NASCAR Busch Series would be ideal. Currently, Reutimann sits 696 points behind leader Carl Edwards. Realistically, Edwards is untouchable. Mathematically, Reutimann would have to average second or third for the remainder five races, and hope Edwards either stays home or finishes last in order to win the NASCAR Busch Series Championship.

"I would like to see a Chase format in the Busch Series," said Reutimann. "If I was Carl Edwards, sitting in first, I wouldn't like it, but the last few years the Busch Series Championship has been a blowout. I would think with Nationwide coming into the sport as primary sponsor of the Series, they'd want more hype and excitement for the last few races. All you ever hear about is the "Chase" because it is so close and unpredictable. I'd like to see that same hype in the Busch garage."

Aaron's Dream Machine Driver: David Reutimann Notes and Quotes

Season Key Stats: Reutimann has four top-fives, and 11 top-10s in the first 29 races this season. Reutimann has a season-to-date Driver Rating of 81.0 -- third in the series -- and an Average Running Position of 16.790 -- third in the series.

What is your goal with five races to go? "My goal is to win all five races (laughing). The last couple of races we haven't ran like we should be running. We need to get back on track and find that win. It's been a great season, but if we finish the season without a win, I think we came up short of what we are capable of doing and what we set out to do."

The Remodel: "My dad, Buzzie, just remodeled his house and Aaron's played a big role in the remodel. We have an Aaron's store not too far from my dad's house down in Florida. When it came time to remodel my dad's kitchen, I said we better go somewhere I know and trust to give you good products. Heck, and they offer such a good deal there. Dad and I headed to Aaron's to get an oven, refrigerator, and other things. The Aaron's people delivered and installed it for him. My Dad loves it and I am excited because I saved a bunch of money. It worked out perfectly. Now he's been looking at the big screen TV's and bugging me to get it for him. Aaron's is such a great store and company. I'd buy all my appliances and furniture there when I need it."
