On racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway..."Charlotte Motor Speedway is by far one of the most difficult tracks we race on," explained Green, driver of the No. 36 Stanley Pontiac. "The track is very sensitive to the time of day. In the morning it's nice, but in the afternoon with the heat of the sun, the track becomes really slippery."

The No. 36 Stanley Pontiac Green will drive at Charlotte this weekend is the first new car that Team 34 has built in-house from the ground up. Green and the Stanley team tested this car at Charlotte last month.

"I was very pleased with how the test went," commented Green. "The car ran great and I'm excited about its debut this weekend at Charlotte." Green and the Stanley team headed west to test at St. Louis last week. "I've never raced at Gateway International Raceway," explained Green. "We ran two different cars there and learned a lot from the test. We know what adjustments we need to make and will be ready to return there in a couple of weeks."
