DAVE BLANEY HOPES FOR A REPEAT AT LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY:

* The last time Dave Blaney ran his Busch car at Lowe's Motor Speedway, he surprised everyone by taking the checkered flag and pulling his Braun Racing entry into Victory Lane. It marked Blaney's first career win in any of NASCAR's top three divisions. He's hoping with a little luck the ABF U-PACK Moving team can repeat that performance this weekend in the Carquest Auto Parts 300.

* After struggling to a 31st place finish at Darlington Raceway, the No. 10 team is planning to turn things around at Lowe's Motor Speedway. A two day test session at Lowe's last week gave them the opportunity to try a few different techniques to improve their mile and a half program.

* In Busch Series competition, Blaney has logged 12 starts at the Concord, North Carolina 1.5-mile quad-oval. He captured five top-10 starts and two top-10 finishes. He also finished in the top-five twice; in 2000 and 2006.

* Blaney likes his odds at Lowe's Motor Speedway...Dave Blaney has every reason to love racing at Lowe's Motor Speedway. In 1998 he captured his first NASCAR Pole, driving the No. 93 Amoco Pontiac. It was the first of his two poles at the track; the second coming in 2000. In 2006, Blaney marked another first; his first ever NASCAR win. Behind the wheel of the No. 32 Braun Racing Chevy, Blaney took home the victory in the Dollar General 300 last October.

BLANEY ON RACING AT LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY:

"I've always liked racing at Charlotte but since the track has been repaved and we've used the new tires, racing there is even more of a challenge. The tires are so much harder and that makes it really difficult to go on the restart. You have to kind of lay back for a few laps before you can really get aggressive and pass cars. The tires don't wear out as easily but if you have a long green flag run, the car will get really tight on you if you don't change the tires often enough. I got my first pole and my first win at Lowe's Motor Speedway! I'm hoping when we go back this weekend, we can get a good solid run and move back up in the points. We've slipped a little in recent weeks and I think Lowe's is just the place to make up for it!"
