Dr Pepper Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the 2001, 2002 and 2003 NASCAR Busch Series season.

Hamilton Jr. drove for the Carroll Racing Team in 2000 and had a strong first full season of Busch racing, successfully qualifying for all 32 races and making impressive runs at all the tracks. "Bobby has displayed the abilities necessary to compete successfully, with intensity, commitment and consistently", commented Carroll Racing owner, Dave Carroll. "We look forward to having him aboard for another season."

With a career best finish of fourth earlier in the season at Talladega Superspeedway and capturing their first pole position at the series finale in Homestead, Carroll Racing is confident about their future. "We have set definite goals and high expectations that we have worked very hard to achieve. Our concentration has been on building our performance and taking the necessary steps to ensure a top caliber team, able to compete at a championship level. With Dr Pepper aboard, we are right on track," explained Carroll.
