Busch calls NASCAR's restart rules 'stupid'

Ryan Blaney stole the win Friday night while Kyle Busch was left seething.

Kyle Busch led 161 laps before losing the win on a botched restart with just a handful of laps to go in Friday's Nationwide race. He was furious and didn't want to talk to anyone.

He stormed from his car and into the media center where he sounded off on NASCAR's always controversial restart rules.

You can’t (expletive) pass here...pathetic

Busch called it 'stupid,' saying "NASCAR doesn't police it. So everybody keeps jacking around on it and one these days I'm going to lock all four (tires) down and stack the whole field up."

After voicing his displeasure with NASCAR's restart policy, he then took on the old Bristol vs. new Bristol debate. "I don’t know that I could have (passed Blaney),” Busch admitted. “It’s a single-lane racetrack, you can’t (expletive) pass here...pathetic.”

It was Ryan Blaney's second career Nationwide victory and his first this season.
