BRISTOL, Tenn. (Aug. 20, 1998) Following last week's disappointing 38th place finish at Michigan Speedway, Mark Green wanted some time away from the high paced world of NASCAR racing. On August 18, the Owensboro, Kentucky resident, his son Tyler and his grandfather Clyde ventured out to a quiet lake near Central City, Kentucky and spent the afternoon fishing.

"It was very peaceful," said Green. "The 1998 racing season has been one disappointment after another. I knew spending time with my son and grandfather would be anything but disappointing. We may not have caught a bunch of fish, but that wasn't important."

Green is currently the sixth most consistent driver in the NASCAR Busch Series this season. He has completed 4432.21 miles out of the possible 4724.74 miles. The Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway is Mark Green's 65th career NASCAR Busch Series race.

Food Country USA, a chain of grocery stores with 11 locations in eastern Tennessee and southwest Virginia, is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
