BUSCH: Bristol II: Toyota teams race notes

Jason Leffler earned the pole in his No. 38 Great Clips Camry tonight marking the third NASCAR Busch Series (NBS) pole for Toyota and first for Leffler at Bristol Motor Speedway. Leffler finished second after leading 81 laps in tonight's race.

Leffler finished second after leading 81 laps in tonight's race. The No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine of David Reutimann finished third after leading 33 laps tonight. Dale Jarrett finished 23rd in his No. 44 UPS Centennial Camry, making his first NBS start since August 2005 at Watkins Glen International. Brian Vickers finished 36th due to a late race accident ending the night of the No. 10 Ft. McDowell Resort Destination Camry.

Four Camry drivers have notched a total of 287 laps led across 10 races in NBS competition. Leffler (Daytona, Nashville, Darlington, Indianapolis and Bristol) has led a total of 141 laps and Reutimann (Nashville, Talladega, St. Louis and Bristol) has led 93 laps. Dave Blaney (California, Atlanta and Nashville) and Vickers (Michigan) have each led 19 laps. Todd Bodine (Gateway) has led 15 laps.

The Camry now has 13 top-five and 30 top-10 finishes in NBS competition. Toyota has scored three poles in Busch Series competition including Leffler at Daytona (July) and Bristol (August) as well as Blaney at California (February).
