Bullseye For Ashton Gray Racing; Signs Five-Race Deal With GrunBroker.com Beginning At Nashville
LEBANON, Tennessee (April 10, 2006) - - Ashton Gray Racing owners Dwayne Gaulding and Barry Tudor who are fielding a brand new NASCAR Busch Series team set to debut this weekend proudly announced today the formation of a marketing partnership with GunBroker.com to serve as the primary marketing partner of the No. 08 Dodge Intrepid driven by Jason White starting with this weekend's Pepsi 300 from Nashville Superspeedway.
GunBroker.com is the world's largest online auction of firearms and accessories. Founded in 1999, GunBroker.com promotes responsible gun ownership.
Third-party sellers list items on the site, and every buyer or seller must be legally allowed to own firearms. Ownership policies and regulations are followed using licensed firearms dealers as transfer agents. The site is an informative, detailed, secure and safe way to buy and sell firearms and hunting and shooting accessories.GunBroker.com is similar in operation to the well-known auction site, eBay0x2122, although not affiliated in any way.
"We're very proud to have GunBroker.com as a marketing partner," said Ashton Gray Racing co-owner, Dwayne Gaulding. "GunBroker.com shows the professionalism and enthusiasm that our team welcomes and we plan to take them to the front in the NASCAR Busch Series."
"Nashville is a big race," explained Gaulding. "It's an off weekend for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series drivers so there won't be an enormous amount of Cup drivers entered, giving a greater chance for the NASCAR Busch Series teams to come alive. Nashville is known for being the "Music City" and we hope to make some noise of our own this weekend."
The first of five races as the primary marketing partner begins with the Pepsi 300, the eighth event on the 2006 NBS schedule. The remaining four events will be determined at a later date.Jason White, the team's driver is looking forward to this weekend's event and feels the team will unload with a car capable of running in the top ten. "There is a lot of pressuring riding on our team this weekend, but we're ready for anything," said White, a former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver. "We planned to debut at Atlanta last month, but we felt in the best interest of our race team, we needed to have all of our ducks in a row. Now we're ready to go."
White continued, "Having GunBroker.com onboard for five races is huge. I think we've put together an impressive package all the way around and I feel we have a chance of giving them the exposure they deserve."
The Pepsi 300 (300 miles/225 laps) is the eighth of 35 events on the 2006 NASCAR Busch Series schedule. Practice begins Friday, April 14th with two afternoon sessions planned. Qualifying is on tap Saturday, April 15th at 10:35am (CST) with the race set to take the green flag later that afternoon following the ARCA RE/MAX Series, PFG Lester 150. FX will air the event live beginning at 4:00PM EST, with MRN handling the airwaves also starting at 4:00 PM EST. The race will also be available via XM radio channel 144 launching at 4:00pm. EST
