Houston Released From Herzog Jackson Motorsports

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 6, 2002) ? Herzog Jackson Motorsports announced today that Andy Houston, driver of the No. 92 Excedrin Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the first three races of the 2002 NASCAR Busch Series season, has been released from the team effective immediately.

Herzog Jackson Motorsports is in the process of selecting a replacement driver, and a decision is expected to be made later this week. The team, which is in the midst of its third full season as a competitor in the NASCAR Busch Series and has finished in the top-10 in the owner point standings in each of the past two years, currently holds down 11th place in the standings.

The Excedrin Racing team will compete as scheduled in the next event on the Busch Series schedule in Darlington, S.C.
