JOHNNY BENSON, No. 1 Tundra, Red Horse Racing
Are you excited to participate in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race? "I am way excited about participating in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity race this year in Long Beach, California. It's an honor to be selected both as a member of the Toyota family and as the defending series champion. It's fun for us to 'hob-knob' with all the celebrities and superstars. I know one of the celebrities won it last year so even though they get a head start, it will be fun to try and catch them, pass them, and then go for the win ourselves. It would be so cool to win it, but just being a part of the race is special. We have the opportunity to raise money for some great charities -- that's what it's really all about."
MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 Exide Batteries Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports
How was the third annual Toyota Skinner Round-Up charity event? "It was an awesome event. I can't thank Toyota and all of the sponsors enough. Toyota has stuck with us for this event and it makes me feel really, really good to be involved with that company. I also have to thank Daytona International Speedway for letting us use their Fan Zone and victory lane. Also, all of the folks and celebrities that showed up and dug into their hearts and their wallets to give to charity and to donate their time. It is very uplifting to see the turnout that we had under the current economic circumstances. It is a heck of a lot of fun to know that the proceeds are going to good causes in Volusia County. Raising this kind of money makes you feel awfully good about what you do and getting back on the track."
