PORTLAND, Ore. (April 14, 1998) - NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Randy Tolsma and his No. 61 IWX Motor Freight Chevrolet crew chief Dave Fuge bring a pretty healthy success record to the Portland Speedway for the Craftsman 200 by NAPA Auto Parts race on April 25. "I think I have about an .800 batting average here at Portland," said Tolsma, 31, a native of Meridian, Idaho. "I've raced a midget here five times and I've won on four of those five times. I love this track and can't wait to race my truck here."

When Tolsma and his truck arrive at Portland, Sumner, Wash.-native Dave Fuge will be setting the truck up. From 1982 to 1988 Fuge owned Fuge Racing Enterprises of Auburn, Wash. Fuge manufactured NASCAR Sportsman car for racers throughout the Northwest.

"We had some of the best cars at Portland," said Fuge, 42, who also is the team manager for the No. 61 IWX Motor Freight team. "Guys like Terry Fisher, Ron Eaton, Chuck Flora and Mike Bliss drove my cars and we had a lot of wins here."

Along with past knowledge of the half-mile Portland oval, the Xpress Motorsports team has put many hours into its overall short track program.

"We have tested at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina on two occasions," continued Fuge. "Our short track package is strong, very strong. I think with our current equipment and our past knowledge of Portland, we will be very competitive."

IWX Motor Freight is a Springfield, Mo. based trucking firm having a fleet of 400 trucks. IWX serves 48 states and annually the trucks will log more than 98 million miles. # # #
