(MARTINSVILLE, Va. - April 9, 2001) - . "The Big White Truck" isn't too big anymore, but we had a good finish and that's what matters." These were Randy Tolsma's words after finishing fifth in Saturdays Nascar Craftsman Truck Series Advanced Auto Parts 250 in Martinsville, marking Tolsma's fourth top-ten finish of the season.

Tolsma then stated, "We were at the mercy of a chain reaction that began after a restart. We had a great truck. Pretty torn up, but ran really good nonetheless. What makes me the happiest is knowing we overcame the odds put against us. Our "Just Bring It" motto continues to be challenged and we continually prevail."

"To withstand a hit like that and not damage the radiator is amazing. I'm proud of the guys. Everyone fought together on pit road giving me good track position to get a fifth place finish."

The weekend in Martinsville was definitely as good as one could get for a race team. The temperature outside may have been flaring up, but not the team. The No. 61 "The Big White Truck" Chevrolet Silverado ran great throughout Friday's practice sessions. Tolsma ran a lap time of 20.735 seconds in qualifying, earning him the 12th starting spot.

"The Big White Truck" was involved in an incident during a restart, which caused heavy front and rear damage. The crew quickly assessed the damage and instructed Tolsma that everything, including the radiator was still in tact and that it wouldn't be a problem to continue in the race despite the torn up appearance. Tolsma definitely showed his driving abilities as he made his way back through the field to finish in fifth.

Tolsma is currently fifth in the series point standings, just one point away from fourth, 11 from third. Team Rensi Motorsports continues to seek primary sponsorship for

"Il Mostro Biancho" and their championship caliber driver.

The Nascar Craftsman Truck Series races in three weeks at Gateway International Raceway for the running of the Ram Tough 250 on Saturday, May 6th. The Team Rensi Motorsports No. 25 Busch Grand National car will be running at Nashville Super Speedway in the Nashville 300 this Saturday, April 14th at 3:00 p.m. on FX.
