COMING OFF A SIXTH PLACE FINISH IN ATLANTA, WHAT DO YOU TAKE FROM WHAT YOU LEARNED LAST WEEK AND BRING IT OVER HERE TO TEXAS? "The biggest thing is to be patient on the mile and a half. We didn't really have a good truck there in practice last week. We had a terrible starting place and just kept the nose clean. We had a good truck and made the right adjustments during the race. I was able to work our way up to the front, keeping patient and staying out of the wrecks that seemed to catch up a couple of people last week. That's really what we've been taking. From what happened at Martinsville, two weeks prior and try not to catch ourselves up in that where we finishing at the end of the race."
ARE YOU AWARE OF WHERE EACH OTHER IS AT ON THE TRACK DURING THE RACE? "I've kept up. I'm only getting to run 16 races, so I've got to replace a couple of bad ones that I did have this year. I'm definitely keeping up where these two [Willie Allen and Tim Sauter] have been because they've been able to replace some of their worst, now they've got 10 points and nine points, which is the best you can get, and I'm up here scrambling to try to replace some of the six-point and five-point finishes. So I'm definitely keeping up with where they are at every week, every lap of the race."
