After his second-place run in the Xfinity race at Mid-Ohio, Alex Tagliani rejoins Brad Keselowski Racing for just the second start of his Camping World Truck Series career.
Alex Tagliani is set to make just his second appearance in the Camping World Truck Series, once again joining Brad Keselowski Racing at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (Mosport) in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.
In 2014, the Canadian won the pole at Mosport in his Truck debut, finishing 16th after a strong showing.
"Alex did a terrific job for us last year," team owner Brad Keselowski said. "He won the pole and ran very well in the race. It's awesome to have him in the Cooper Standard Ford F-150 at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park."
Tagliani, 41, has just one previous NASCAR start this season. It came in the Xfinity race at Mid-Ohio, Driving for Team Penske, he earned pole and finished second after a last-lap duel with Regan Smith. He also led 38 of 75 laps that day.
"I really enjoyed driving the truck because it was so well prepared by the team," Tagliani said, who will be behind the wheel of the No. 29. "A big part of racing is the chemistry. This was so unique because of everyone's attitude at BKR. By the time qualifying was over I felt like I had been working with the team for years."
