Terry Cook post race quotes -

"We were just off. I can't put my finger on what the situation is and why we are a ninth-place team right now. For a while we were able to run in the Top-5 and hold our on up there in the No. 29 Power Stroke ® Diesel/Oil Mateâ"' Ford at Gateway. We never had the truck where we wanted it all night long. I think we picked the wrong gear and motor combination for here and they were just pulling us up off the corner and driving away from us down the straight-aways. We need to put our finger on it because these are tracks we typically perform well at and we are not sure why we are not performing. We have to sit down and figure out where we are missing the boat at here."

"We'll put forth our best efforts again at Michigan International Speedway next week. We are excited to go to Michigan because it's a home track for K-Automotive and I grew up only 45 minutes from there. Michigan will be a special race for K-Automotive because it's their 200th NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race."

"Michigan is a place where you can run the No. 29 Power Stroke ® Diesel Ford NASCAR Craftsman Truck three wide. It's another track we run well at. You always look forward to tracks that you typically run well at. We are looking for that one race, that one spark to get this Power Stroke ® Diesel Ford team back on target. This Power Stroke ® Diesel Ford team is a lot better than where we are running. Here we are midseason and we still don't have a Top-5 finish. We sure know how to rack up Top-10 finishes and that's what we are doing. While we are down, we will keep racking up Top-10s until we get it figured out. Then we will get Top-5s and eventually win races again."

CREW CHIEF RICK REN POST RACE QUOTES -

"We really thought we were good in happy hour the other night, but you can't really see where you're at until you are racing during long green flag runs. I think we are a little behind in an area that's getting us beat going down the straight-aways. When that happens, Terry has to overdrive getting in the corners and then he has to use more brake and then he heats up suspension things that don't need to be heated up and the chassis ends up going away. A lot of things are compounded when you are trying to make up time on the track. It's been two weeks in a row that the Power Stroke ® Diesel crew guys really haven't had to make any major adjustments in the pits. We are doing all we can to run ninth. We think we have an idea of some things that are wrong. We are going to do some more research. We went to the wind tunnel last week and did some more work on the Michigan truck. The engine builder is supposed to working closer with us and we are all trying hard to come up with the right answer."

"Hopefully, we can have a better run at Michigan. We just have to keep looking on the positive side. The guys are having good pit stops that are more consistent and keep getting even better each week. I think the guys are doing a great job. There's just a lot of little things that we've got to look at."
