RON HORNADAY, NO. 6 GM GOODWRENCH CHEVROLET SILVERADO:

NOTE: Hornaday suffered a ruptured appendix on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 and underwent an emergency appendectomy. Hornaday practiced the truck the entire one-hour first practice today and the majority of the second practice session.

"I feel good. Ready to race. The No. 6 GM Goodwrench Silverado is good, we spent most of the time on race setup in both practices so we may not sit on the pole but we have a good race truck. No problems with the incision or anything else related to the surgery. I am comfortable in the truck just like nothing happened.

"We have Tony Raines here to standby just in case and I felt bad he wasn't going to have any fun so we put him the truck for the last 15 minutes of practice or so, but I am ready to race tonight."
