Hansen at IRP: Scott Hansen, driver of the No. 52 Oakwood Homes Chevrolet, has had much success in the past at IRP. In five starts in the ASA series at IRP, Hansen has two wins, three top-five and five top-10 finishes. One of his two wins at the .686-mile track came last year. Hansen also competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at IRP in 1998, qualifying 20th and finishing 24th.

Schrader Racing's Racers: The upcoming week will be a busy week for Schrader Racing's drivers Ken Schrader and Scott Hansen. Hansen will compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at IRP on August 5th, the NASCAR Busch Series race at IRP on August 6th, the ASA race at Lacrosse Speedway on August 8th and the RE/MAX Challenge Series at Wisconsin International Raceway on August 10th. Ken Schrader will run in the NASCAR Winston Cup race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 7th and the RE/MAX Challenge Series at Wisconsin International Speedway on August 10th. How does Hansen like competing against his boss, Ken Schrader?

"I like racing against Ken Schrader," Hansen said. "Not only is he a great boss, but he is a tough competitor. I know he will race me hard at the upcoming event at Wisconsin International Raceway. We raced against each other on Memorial Day earlier this year there in the RE/MAX Challenge Series and I won the event and he finished fourth. I'll keep my eye out for him, because I know he will be wanting to turn the tables around this time."

Equipment: The Oakwood Homes Racing team is taking the same truck to IRP that finished third earlier this year at Nazareth and the same truck that competed last year at IRP.

"We are taking the same truck to IRP that we raced there last year," said crew chief Wally Brown. "We were running third in the race last year when some debris on the track knocked off the oil pump belt on lap 64 and parked us for the rest of the race. The truck was capable of winning last year and it is one of the best in our stable of trucks at Schrader Racing. I feel that we should be able to take it to victory lane this year."

1998 Statistics: The Oakwood Homes Racing team started eighth and finished 33rd in the Cummins 200 By Dodge in 1998.
