Sources confirm that Ross Kenseth will test the No. 18 Hattori Racing Enterprises Toyota truck at Martinsville Speedway on Tuesday in preparation for his debut at the historic .526-mile track on Oct. 31.
The 22-year-old son of 2003 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Matt Kenseth made his Xfinity Series debut in June at Chicagoland Speedway. He qualified second and finished sixth.
Earlier that month, Kenseth qualified second in the ARCA race at Michigan International Speedway and won in just his third-career start on the tour. In four ARCA starts, Kenseth's lowest finish was sixth.
Kenseth has also competed in some of the top Late Model shows in the country including the Snowball Derby, Slinger Nationals, Winchester 400 and All American 400 -- which he won in 2012.
