Rick Crawford Phoenix preview

#14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford
Plans To Take Phoenix By Storm

Phoenix, AZ- Rick Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford plan to take the desert track by storm. Crawford and the Milwaukee Heavy Duty Crew head into Phoenix as one of the hottest teams on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team is coming off of a fifth place finish at last week's race in Las Vegas. The team is on a roll with two top three, six top five and only finishing outside of the top ten once in the last eight races.

Phoenix International Raceway is one of Rick Crawford's favorite tracks. In 1996 Crawford set the track record in the Featherlite Series. "Phoenix is a track where I feel right at home. I have raced at there enough times to know how to get around it. This year, I feel I have a very good chance of taking the checkered flag. I have the complete package. I have a great crew chief in Ray Stonkus. Ernie Elliott continues to provide the team with strong motors. Overall, the team is as strong as it has ever been," stated driver Rick Crawford. Crawford appears to be on track, judging by the recent performances at the track.

Crawford and the Milwaukee Heavy Duty Crew keep pounding away at the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship point race. While other teams seem to be fading, Crawford and the #14 Ford are running stronger than ever. The team has been chipping away and gaining on the eighth place and is not that far out of seventh in points. The team is in striking distance of finishing as the top Ford in the point race. "The team set goals at the beginning of the season. One of those goals was to finish as the top Ford team. If we keep running the way we are and not worrying about the other teams, I think it will happen," added Crawford.

Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford will take the green flag in The Chevy 150 Silverado 150 at the Phoenix International Raceway, Friday October 26th, at 3:30 p.m. EST. The event will be telecast live on ESPN and broadcast live on MRN Radio.
