#14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford Hammers Home 4th Place Finish
Nazareth, PA- Rick Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford hammered home a fourth place finish during the Chevy Silverado 200 at Nazareth Speedway. This finish is Crawford's third top five in a row. The #14 Ford started the race in 5th place after Saturday afternoons qualifying effort.
Crawford wasted no time assuming the fourth position in a few short laps. The race leaders set a blistering pace. The leaders began to lap the tail end of the field in only 11 laps. Crawford drove the #14 Ford with skill and expertise. "Ray Stonkus and the Milwaukee Heavy Duty Crew did a great job preparing the race truck. Once again, Ernie Elliott horsepower was great under the hood," stated Crawford.
The first of only three caution flags waved on lap 60 and Crawford brought the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford into the pits for service. The Heavy Duty Crew went to work on the truck, changing right side tires and filling the truck up with fuel. Crawford was back on the track in just over 11 seconds. The next caution flag flew on lap 142. After service in the pits, Crawford maintained his fourth place position. On lap 194 the Caution flag flew for the last time. Crawford came in and took on right side tires while the leaders stayed out. The #14 Ford was looking to capture its first win of the season. The race started with a single file re-start. Crawford drove the wheels off of the #14, but to now avail. "We'll take a fourth place finish and move on the Richmond. With great sponsors like Milwaukee Electric Tool, Lennox and Mobil 1, a win is just around the corner," stated Crawford.
The #14 Ford remains in ninth place in the championship point race. We picked up valuable points today and are gaining ground on eighth place," commented Crawford.
