Rick Crawford Nashville recap

Gladeville, TN- Rick Crawford and the ...

Gladeville, TN- Rick Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford cut through the competition and finished third at the new state of the art Nashville Superspeedway. The third place is the team's best finish, topping their back-to-back fourth place finishes earlier in the season. The #14 Ford started the race in thirteenth position after Thursday nights qualifying effort.

Rick Crawford drove the #14 Ford with skill and expertise. He was able to drive his race truck in and out of traffic at will. "The #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford ran great tonight. Ray Stonkus and the Heavy Duty Crew did a great job preparing the truck. Ernie Elliott gave us another strong motor. Team owner Tom Mitchell, sponsors Milwaukee Electric Tool, Lennox and Mobil 1 give us great support. I feel a win is just around the corner. The #14 Ford was one of the fastest trucks the whole time we were at Nashville. We had a little problem in qualifying. Ray and the team worked hard and they fixed it," stated Crawford. Fix it they did.

The #14 Ford was sporting a special paint scheme in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Milwaukee Electric Tool Sawzall. The tool is revolutionary in design and is used by professional craftsman and homeowners alike. "I think we need to run this truck again, it really cuts through the competition," commented Crawford

The Milwaukee Heavy Duty Pit Crew was on top of their game. The race was only slowed twice for two cautions. Each time the #14 Ford came in for service, Crawford was sent out in better position than when he came in. "I can't say enough about the pit stops. The Heavy Duty Crew did a great job. One of these days we are going to win a race because of their fast pit stops," stated Crawford.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in Chicago next Saturday afternoon and can be seen on ESPN and heard on MRN Radio.
