#14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford Nails Another Top Five

Cicero, IL- Rick Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford nailed a fifth place finish at the Sears Craftsman 175 at the Chicago Motor Speedway. That is Crawford's second top five in a row.

Rick Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford ran a great race. The #14 started the race in sixth place after Friday afternoons qualifying effort. The #14 was fast as soon as the green flag dropped to start the race. Crawford picked off trucks left and right. The #14 Ford lead the race early on and ended up leading the most laps of the event, earning Crawford the Gatorade Front Runner Award. Crawford was blowing away the competition in the windy city. "I'm real proud of the run we had here today. Ray Stonkus and the Milwaukee Heavy Duty Crew did a great job preparing the truck," commented Crawford. For the second week in a row, Crawford was the top finishing Ford.

The race had five cautions for 29 laps. The last caution came on lap 157 when rookie Kyle Busch ran out of gas. That last caution set the stage for a seven-lap shoot out. The finish was exciting for the fans as well as the drivers. Crawford and the #29 traded paint while crossing the start/finish line. "Our sponsors, Milwaukee Electric Tool, Lennox and Mobil 1 are a winning combination. With their support, a win is not far off," stated Crawford.

Chicago is a tough track to race. "We had our fair share of bumping and banging on the track. We were teamed up with the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL, and there was a lot of checking going on out there," stated Crawford.
