23 J.D. GIBBS, NO. 48 HOT ROD MAGAZINE SILVERADO. J.D. has only run one other race this year, Darlington, with the same chassis he has here. He finished 23rd in Darlington.
24 JACK SPRAGUE, NO. 24 NETZERO PLATINUM SILVERADO. "Psycho." It¹s a Hendrick chassis and won the last time it raced (Indianapolis). Also ran at Daytona (12th) and Memphis (23rd).
46 DENNIS SETZER, NO. 46 ACXIOM/COMPUTER ASSOCIATES SILVERADO. No. 17, "Kenny." Named after the popular South Park cartoon character. All Morgan-Dollar Silverados are named after South Park characters, including Kenny, Cartman, Timmy and Mr. Hankey. Kenny won in Memphis, Setzer¹s first win of the year. It has run 10 of the 19 races so far, including today.
60 TRAVIS KVAPIL, NO. 60 CAT RENTAL STORES SILVERADO. No. 009. New at Pikes Peak (7th). Ran Milwaukee (3rd), and New Hampshire (2nd). Rick Ren, crew chief, found something broken in the chassis during today¹s practice session; the team missed most of that session. "If we qualify good it¹s because we guessed right and Travis was not afraid to drive it. It won¹t be for lack of effort on our parts," he says.
75 BILLY BIGLEY, NO. 75 SPEARS MANUFACTURING SILVERADO. "Earl" is back for it¹s ninth race in 2001. The chassis, named after the Dixie Chicks¹ hit "Goodbye, Earl," is back after a three-race sabbatical. It last ran in Indianapolis, where it finished 29th. Its best finish this season was a 7th in Milwaukee. It¹s sporting a brand-new body at this race following the Indy race.
