Scot Walters/ Red Man Racing Notes
* It is a big week for Scot Walters and the Red Man/Brewco Motorsports team. The team is competing in front of a hometown crowd so to speak. The home office of Red Man is in Richmond, Virginia, so many of the fans on hand for the Virginia is for Lovers 200 will be rooting Walters on.
"It's a big honor to be able to race the Red Man truck here at Richmond," said Walters. "Having this race here each year gives many of the supporters of this program a chance to see their truck run. The way the schedule is in the truck series there are many races that the people at Red Man are only able to see on TV so its great to get them out here and have them be able to get up close a personal with us."
* Scot Walters and the Red Man/Brewco Motorsports team's 12th place finish in Louisville, two weeks ago, was the third top 15 finish in three races. The finish also moved Walters back into the 19th place in the season long NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point standings.
"We got behind early in the year," said Walters. "We just have to continue to have good runs to get back in the race for a top 15 finish in the points."
