MONROE, Wash. (April 29, 1998) - Randy Tolsma and the IWX Motor Freight Chevrolet NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team have every reason to be confident going into the NAPACARD 200 here at Evergreen Speedway on May 9. The team is coming off its best run of the season, a second-place finsih, at Portland Speedway. Also, many of the team members are familiar with the .646-mile oval.

"I am really excited about racing here at Monroe," said Tolsma, a native of Meridian, Idaho. "We had such a strong truck at Portland and there is no reason we can't do the same up here. Dave Fuge, our crew chief, has spent a lot of time in this area. He's familiar with the track and he brings a lot of experience to our team."

The race at Evergreen Speedway is an anniversary of sorts for Fuge, a native of Sumner, and the IWX Motor Freight team. Last year, this race marked his first race with the team.

"This is like our 15th race together," continued Tolsma about the relationship with Fuge. "We're still jelling and working together. Our short track program is strong, we tested a couple of times this winter and we're real confident that we'll be good here."

Not only is Fuge from the area, but three of the crew members are from the Evergreen State. They are: Brian Flora (Auburn), Mike Freeman (Spanaway) and Dave Fuge Jr. (Sumner).
