* This Week's Tundra... David Starr will wheel RMM-103 this weekend at Pocono Raceway. The truck has not been raced during the 2010 season but is expected to run well given Pocono Raceway's unique track configuration.
* A Weekend of Firsts at the Tricky Triangle... The opening practice session at Pocono Raceway will mark veteran David Starr's first lap on the 2.5-mile tri-oval. While Starr has logged countless laps at nearly every other venue on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule, the driver of the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports Toyota Tundra will make his debut at the track along with the series. With its three-turn design and flat sweeping corners, Pocono is unlike any other track the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series visits. In addition to the first race at the Pennsylvania track, this weekend will also mark the first time NASCAR will utilize multi-truck qualifying in any of NASCAR's top three divisions.
* Crew Members Ready to Race at Home... Two members of the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports team will return to their home track this weekend at Pocono Raceway, both Doug Wolcott and Ashleigh Aungst are from hometowns approximately two hours away from the Pennsylvania track. Wolcott, a native of Howell, N.J., serves as crew chief on the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports Toyota Tundra team. Aungst relocated to North Carolina less than a year ago from Palmyra, Pa., and serves as the public relations representative for both Randy Moss Motorsports teams.
David Starr on competing at Pocono Raceway
"I'm really looking forward to racing at Pocono Raceway in the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports Toyota Tundra. I always say that my favorite track is the next one that we race at because I just love to race, but it's always exciting to go to a new track and have a new challenge. Pocono is a very unique track and I'm excited to see what kind of racing the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will produce on that track. I strongly believe that our series has some of the best racing in NASCAR and I don't expect this weekend to be any different. Our Randy Moss Motorsports team has been improving week after week and I'm exciting to see what we can do this weekend at Pocono [Raceway]; it should be a lot of fun."
Crew Chief Doug Wolcott on racing at Pocono Raceway
"The race at Pocono is going to be a really close, competitive race. I think you'll see a lot of teams try to turn it into a strategy race because it's only 50 laps. It's a 2.5-mile track, but it's only a 125-mile event, so you'll see a lot of guys play fuel and tire strategy to make up track position and try to take the win. I really think this is a race that anybody could win. We'll have some competition coming down from the Cup series who will certainly be tough to beat, but we have a lot of good racers in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series that I think could visit victory lane on Saturday--including the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports team. We've done a lot of work over the last few weeks to examine our trucks and prepare for this weekend. I'm excited for it."
