RICK CRAWFORD - No. 14 Power Stroke Diesel by International Ford F-150 (finished 12th, qualified 20th)
"It was an eventful night and it made for some real bold moves by the Ford F-Series pick-up. The Ford Power Stroke Diesel by International ran as high as seventh or eighth from starting 20th. This is a hard track to pass on especially with all the cautions that we had. The Circle Bar Racing truck didn't want to go on the restarts, it needed three or four laps to get going and we didn't have it there at the end. Two or three jumped us and then we passed Brendan Gaughan on the outside of the last corner. The longer run we had, the better we were and the short runs were hurting us."
HOW DID YOU AVOID ALL THE CAUTIONS? "Calvin Humphries, my spotter, helped me out on the front straightaway and I anticipated something happening. It didn't look like I got a good restart, but I knew what was going to happen in front of me. But most of the accidents were behind me. It was a clean night for our Ford F-Series pick-up and we're built Ford tough. In the end, we were the highest finishing Ford tonight, but that's not where we wanted to finish. Ford is in it to win it and we're going to Homestead and win there. I'm really looking forward to racing there next weekend."
T.J. BELL - No. 50 Heathcliff's Cat Litter Ford F-150 (finished 15th, qualified 25th)
"We ended up 15th after starting 25th. I was telling the crew, my friends and family here that that was the hardest I've ever worked for 10 spots. We worked on the truck all night long. We were really good on short runs but we couldn't get it to turn good in the long runs. We definitely put on a good show for the fans. With all the cautions, it was better for us because we were better on the short runs. Our F-150 was good all night long. We've been getting better. We were down three or four laps in Atlanta, two at Texas and tonight we finished on the lead lap. That's great for us heading into Ford Championship Weekend in Miami."
STACY COMPTON - No. 09 Zaxby's Ford F-150 (finished 32nd, qualified 26th)
"This is disappointing for the Zaxby's Ford and all the guys on the team. We had a great truck in practice. We got turned around early and made our way back up there pretty good. The first caution caused the second caution. It's just disappointing, we had a great truck and I hate it for the guys on the team. This is the last for me with these guys for this year and we had a good truck but that's racing. That's the way it goes sometimes."
ERIK DARNELL - No. 99 Northern Tool + Equipment Ford F-150 (finished 35th, qualified 17th)
"We were run over by the 75 [Clay Rogers] truck, he was behind us. I know we were racing for position in the top 15 there, but it's still early in the race and he turned us around. It's too bad because our Northern Tool + Equipment Ford F-150 was pretty decent tonight. After the first pit stop we were able to drive up through the field a bit. That's two weeks in a row that we've had a wreck. We're racing to finish the season in the top 10 in points and this really hurts our chances tonight. All we can do is go to Homestead and try to win there."
DAVID STARR - No. 10 International MAXX Force Diesel Ford F-150 (finished 36th, qualified 30th)
"We started so far back in the race tonight but we were coming up on the outside and had a run going. Then 16 [Brian Scott] was tight. He slid up from under me and I couldn't get on the brakes to slow it down and I just got into him. Then he spun around and put us into the wall. It hurt the front end. The crew repaired truck enough so we could get out there and run a couple more laps. Then the 27 [Jacques Villeneuve] just ran into us from some reason. I don't understand. When your running last and you run into somebody, it doesn't make sense. We didn't have a very good night."
