Dotter steems to 13th on PIR NCTS grid.

Avondale, AZ Fresh of a sponsorship announcement with Stanley Steemer, Bobby Dotter qualified in the 13th position for the Chevy Silverado 150 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Phoenix International Speedway. Dotter's Stanley Steemer/People Against Drugs Chevy turned a quick lap of 28.375 seconds/126.872 miles per hour. Rick Crawford won the pole with a lap of 28.053/128.329.

"We have had a great weekend so far," said a pleased Dotter after the run. "We were really excited to bring Stanley Steemer on board because we knew we would be competitive out here. We ran in the top-5 here last year before we had a problem set us back. We think we can do it again this weekend. Doug (Howe, crew chief) has made some great calls this weekend with the setup. This truck always gets better through the race, so we look for a good top-10 finish for the Stanley Steemer people this weekend."

Dotter turned 20 laps in the final 15-minute practice session, which reaffirmed his thoughts that the truck will run good in race conditions.

"We had a good final practice," he continued. "The truck responded well, and that is always a good thing. If we can get some good pit stops and we bring it home in one piece, we should wind up somewhere near the front."

The Silverado 150 will take the green flag at 3 pm ET, and will be broadcast live on ESPN as well as NASCAR Radio on XM Satellite Radio and MRN Radio affiliates nationwide.
