Starr on Racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
"I have had some really good runs at Nashville, and I have been really close to grabbing that Gibson guitar a couple of times. I think that is one trophy that everybody in this garage can't wait to get his or her hands on. I would love for this Red Horse Racing team to contend for the top spot this weekend, and I am confident that we can do it. The team and crew chief Jamie Jones have worked really hard to get our mile-and-a-half track program on par with our short track program. We've gotten better each track that we have raced, so I think that we're going to be a force at Nashville. It's a great track for me -- I really like that it is fast and has a wide racing groove. I'm really looking forward to an exciting weekend."
Starr and Red Horse Racing Look For Top Finishes With New Sponsor
This weekend's Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway marks the second race for Red Horse Racing's new associate sponsor, TOYOTAFORKLIFT.NET. The bright orange TOYOTAFORKLIFT.NET logo is featured on the No. 11 Toyota's rear quarter panels. In their first race together at Indianapolis, Starr scored a fourth-place finish.
"We were thrilled to come out of Indianapolis with a top-five for our new sponsor, TOYOTAFORKLIFT.NET," Starr said after the race. "To have a sponsor join our team after recognizing all the hard work we have put in this season and the success that we have enjoyed is something that is really special for me and everyone associated with Red Horse Racing
"This Red Horse Racing team just seems to get better each and every week. Right now, we are sitting seventh in points, and it is definitely a close battle. We can't afford any mistakes. If we keep having good finishes like we did at Indy, we will be right in the thick of the championship hunt, which is where I think this team deserves to be. We've won one race this season, but we are hungry for another victory. We'd love to take our new sponsor to Victory Lane and thank them properly for supporting our team."
Starr will be making his 156th career start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this week at Nashville.
