WEST ALLIS, Wis. - Steve Portenga and the No. 39 Roto-Rooter Chevrolet Silverado will start 28th in the GNC Live Well 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Milwaukee Mile Saturday, June 29. Portenga earned that position in qualifying for the race Friday, June 28.

"We're not excited about that position, but we're making some progress," Portenga said. "We ran better than that in practice and thought we could qualify better. That's disappointing, but I know this Roto-Rooter Chevrolet is better than a 28th-place truck. We know we can race in the top-15."

Portenga's fastest lap around the one-mile oval was 31.064 seconds (115.890 miles per hour). Terry Cook won the pole for the race with a 30.054/119.784 lap.

The green flag for the GNC Live Well 200 is slated for 2:30 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 29. The race is slated for telecast on ESPN and broadcast on the radio affiliates of the Motor Racing Network.
