WEST ALLIS, Wis. - For the third consecutive race, Matt Crafton and the No. 88 Menards/ColorPave Chevrolet will start in the top-15 of a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event. Crafton posted the 14th-fastest lap in qualifying for the GNC Live Well 200 at the Milwaukee Mile Friday, June 28. The race is slated for Saturday, June 29.

"We figured some things out about our qualifying at Dover last month," Crafton said. "We've started to consistently get in the top-15. Now, we need to step that up and start qualifying in the top-10 every week."

Crafton's fastest lap around the one-mile oval was 30.476 seconds (118.126 miles per hour). Terry Cook won the pole for the race with a 30.054/119.784 lap.

Crafton posted the fourth-fastest lap in a practice session Friday morning. He was fifth in the final practice after qualifying Friday afternoon.

"I think we can be a top-five truck in the race," Crafton said. "We've raced among the top-five in quite a few races this year, but we haven't been able to finish there. I think we're getting close to having a breakthrough race where we finish in the top-five. We are capable of making that breakthrough in this race."

Crafton finished ninth in the 2001 running of the GNC Live Well 200. He's finished among the top-10 in two races this season and in 14 races in his truck racing career.

The green flag for the GNC Live Well 200 is slated for 2:30 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 29. The race is slated for telecast on ESPN and broadcast on the radio affiliates of the Motor Racing Network.
